College Prep & Job Training

In partnership with Dr. Melvin Armstrong and TIE(a), a nonprofit organization, under-represented composers will be prepped for the college application and admission process. Inception mentors on university faculties also provide guidance and letters of recommendation for pursuing music composition at the collegiate level.

Throughout our programs, our composers will be exposed to and trained in many of the different jobs available in music. Throughout our programs, industry professionals will give workshops and mentor in careers that extend beyond just composition and orchestration.
