MARIAM KADDOURA is a Los Angeles native. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and Music Performance (graduating with honors) in 2014, then completed her Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance in 2016, earning both from UCLA. Among teachers she studied with include Mitchell Peters, Raynor Carroll and Theresa Dimond. Ms. Kaddoura frequently works as a freelance percussion artist for a variety of performing ensembles.
In addition to performing, Mariam is currently pursuing a single subject K-12 teaching credential in music at California State University, Northridge and hopes to have a music program of her own in the near future. She teaches children and young adults from all grades 2 through college in a variety of general music (both Western and non-Western traditions), percussion-specific courses and private or group lessons.
